Principal Financial Analyst (MedTech)

What you will do

• Own end-to-end OpEx planning, forecasting, variance analysis, and cost discipline for the EMEA and APAC regions.
• Lead monthly rolling forecasts, annual operating plans, scenario analysis, sensitivity modeling, and headcount-related expense forecasting.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly expense reporting packages and provide actual-versus-forecast commentary for senior leadership.
• Partner with regional finance, Commercial Functions, Controllership, and the FP&A Center of Excellence on submissions, close activities, accruals, reclassifications, and journal entries.
• Drive expense analytics and reporting automation using Power BI, OneStream, Excel/VBA, or related platforms.
• Mentor junior analysts, support capability building, and lead finance process improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• 6+ years of progressive FP&A or finance experience.
• Experience supporting multi-country regions and matrix organizations.
• Advanced Excel skills and financial modeling expertise.
• Proficiency in Power BI or equivalent business intelligence tools.
• Experience with OneStream, SAP, Hyperion, or similar EPM/ERP platforms.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present to senior stakeholders.

Nice to have

• MBA, CPA, CMA, CA, or an equivalent professional qualification.
• Experience in a Global Center of Excellence or Shared Services environment.
• Experience leading finance automation or process improvement projects.
• Experience in the MedTech, Healthcare, or Life Sciences industry.
