Controlling Coordination Analyst (AI/Finance)

Location: Boadilla del Monte, Madrid, Spain; hybrid work with some days remote and some days onsite

What you will do

• Coordinate Controlling projects and recurring tasks across SCIB geographies, aligning priorities, timelines, dependencies, and deliverables.
• Coordinate local and global Finance teams with technical stakeholders, translating financial business needs into data and technology requirements.
• Promote consistent Controlling processes while incorporating local requirements across geographies.
• Track progress, outstanding actions, and delivery risks, following up with relevant teams.
• Identify opportunities to simplify processes, reduce duplication, and improve efficiency through data processing, automation, and AI tools.
• Support ad hoc initiatives and adapt tasks and priorities as business needs evolve.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of relevant experience in Finance or Controlling, including technical roles supporting financial functions or processes.
• Experience applying data analysis, automation, or AI tools to financial processes.
• Ability to structure work plans, track milestones and dependencies, and maintain action logs and status updates.
• Understanding of financial and Controlling processes, including preparing, transforming, reconciling, and analysing financial data.
• Practical knowledge of AI tools for financial analysis and process efficiency, including critical validation of outputs and compliance with confidentiality and internal governance requirements.
• Advanced English, written and spoken, is required for coordinating meetings, discussing requirements, and communicating with international teams.
• High flexibility and adaptability, strong collaboration and communication skills, and the ability to coordinate stakeholders without direct reporting authority.
• Proactive, organised, delivery-focused approach with attention to detail, sound judgement, and ownership of follow-up actions.

Nice to have

• Experience coordinating tasks or projects with multiple stakeholders and managing concurrent priorities.
• Experience in an international financial services environment or working across geographies.
• Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related discipline, complemented by the relevant financial or technical skills; equivalent professional experience is considered.
• Additional finance qualifications, or training in data analytics, AI, or automation.
• Proficiency in tools such as advanced Excel/Power Query, SQL, Python, or Power BI; candidates are not expected to master every tool.
• Familiarity with PowerPoint and project-tracking tools.
