Senior Financial Planning Specialist

What you will do

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual rolling forecasts and report actual results against budgets, including ad-hoc financial analysis.
• Build and maintain financial and forecast models, ensuring accurate financial reporting and cash-flow understanding.
• Analyze historical data and budget variances, identify drivers of departmental metric changes, and recommend improvements.
• Partner with Sales, Marketing, HR, and other business units on budgeting, spending tracking, and cost-saving opportunities.
• Support the implementation and continuous improvement of budgeting and forecasting solutions, including process automation.
• Prepare quantitative analyses and presentations for strategic planning, special projects, and investor or board meetings; maintain controls and guide Planning Specialists.

Requirements

• BA/BS degree in Finance or Accounting.
• 3–5 years of experience in FP&A, corporate planning, or similar financial roles.
• Solid knowledge of accounting, finance compliance, financial systems, planning tools, and budgetary control.
• Good understanding of US GAAP.
• Advanced Excel and planning software skills.
• Strong organizational, communication, presentation, and analytical skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a global team across different time zones.
• Understanding of the software industry.
• Fluent or bilingual English, spoken and written.

Nice to have

• Experience in a Big 4 firm.
• Experience with Workday and NetSuite.
