Fullstack Engineer (Healthcare)

Location: Hiring locations include Bulgaria, Georgia, Lithuania, Mexico, Moldova, Poland, and Ukraine. Daily overlap with the US team is required until at least 1:00 PM Pacific Time.

Salary: EUR 5,500–6,200 gross per month, depending on hiring location and experience.

hirify.global is delivering a healthcare platform project for a clinician-founded US medical and behavioral health organization providing integrated mental health care through a telehealth-first hybrid model.

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable full-stack applications with Python and React.
• Build cloud-native healthcare applications for patient registration, scheduling, provider workflows, clinical operations, and administration.
• Develop RESTful APIs, event-driven microservices, message-based integrations, and interfaces for clinical and operational staff.
• Integrate third-party healthcare and enterprise platforms, including Athenahealth and Salesforce.
• Participate in migrating business capabilities from Athenahealth to custom applications.
• Contribute to architecture discussions, code reviews, testing, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure automation.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, including full-stack application development.
• Practical Python experience with FastAPI, Flask, Django, or similar frameworks, plus React and TypeScript/JavaScript.
• Experience with REST APIs, microservices, AWS cloud-native applications, and distributed event-driven systems.
• Hands-on experience with message queues or streaming platforms such as SNS/SQS, EventBridge, Kafka, or RabbitMQ.
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases, Git, Docker, CI/CD, scalable architecture, debugging, and problem-solving.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication and daily overlap with the US team until at least 1:00 PM Pacific Time are required.

Nice to have

• Healthcare software, EMR/EHR, clinical workflow, patient scheduling, RCM, or healthcare integration experience.
• HIPAA compliance, healthcare security, FHIR, HL7, event sourcing, or CQRS experience.
• Terraform, Snowflake, serverless architecture, AWS certification, or modern data platform experience.
• Experience with AI-assisted development tools or AI-enabled workflow automation.
