General Manager (Optical)

What you will do

• Oversee daily store operations, including staffing, inventory, bookkeeping, planning, and policy enforcement.
• Lead, coach, train, recruit, hire, and retain associates while creating schedules based on business needs and store traffic.
• Manage store sales, profitability, budgets, supplies, inventory, reporting, and financial performance.
• Monitor customer and patient experiences and partner with the Doctor to support a high standard of care.
• Execute marketing, merchandising, promotional, quality, and service standards.
• Conduct audits, maintain accurate records, and ensure compliance with corporate and safety requirements.

Requirements

• 5+ years of retail experience; supervisory experience is preferred.
• Proven ability to lead, coach, and build strong associate relationships.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Passion for exceptional customer service and driving sales.
• Solid understanding of store operations and business performance.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is preferred.
