MCPP - Engineer Equipment Mechanic Sr.

What you will do

• Perform complex maintenance and repairs on diesel engines and gasoline- and diesel-driven equipment.
• Service heavy material handling and construction equipment, including hydraulic cranes, container handlers, forklifts, tractors, power shovels, and road machinery.
• Troubleshoot and repair MVAC systems.
• Perform operator, intermediate, and limited major rebuild maintenance, including spot painting.
• Provide technical assistance, guidance, and training to lower-level mechanics while supporting higher-level mechanics.
• Lift up to 50 pounds and complete other reasonably assigned tasks.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Six years of directly related work experience.
• Completion of the Basic Engineer Program Mechanics Course or equivalent.
• Completion of an MVAC course and possession of a valid certificate.
• Valid state driver's license and ability to obtain and maintain a Tactical Operator License.
• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain and maintain a Common Access Card (CAC) and base access are required.
