People Advisor (Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Manage core Employee Relations cases, including sickness absence, flexible working, performance management, probation, grievances, disciplinary processes, capability cases, and parental leave.
• Advise, coach, and constructively challenge managers on people management, leadership, employee wellbeing, and employment processes.
• Support engagement activities, local inductions, HR training, coaching development, and a positive ED&I culture.
• Partner with HR Shared Services, Payroll, People Data, and the People Business Partner on accurate and timely people processes.
• Analyse attrition, exit interview results, and KPI trends, then support associated action planning.

Requirements

• At least two years of HR experience, ideally in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience advising managers and stakeholders on HR policies and procedures.
• Experience managing high-volume casework and knowledge of Employee Relations.
• Strong technical skills and working knowledge of current employment legislation.
• Strong listening, problem-solving, communication, relationship-building, data analysis, and presentation skills.
• Level 3 or 5 CIPD qualification is advantageous but not essential.
