Site Installation Manager (Mechanical/Electrical)

Location: Thane/Mumbai, India; site-based work with travel to remote sites and stays of several weeks

What you will do

• Own project execution from mobilization and material verification through installation, commissioning, trial runs, and completion certification.
• Supervise the installation, erection, unloading, storage, shifting, and commissioning of mechanical and electrical equipment.
• Coordinate customers, consultants, end users, vendors, contractors, and internal engineering, procurement, finance, and QA/QC teams.
• Prepare installation schedules, monitor progress, submit biweekly reports, and escalate delivery risks or delays.
• Manage site logistics, subcontractors, labor teams, operators, documentation, approvals, billings, attendance, and payment protocols.
• Ensure compliance with contractual terms, safety and quality standards, approved designs, budgets, timelines, and customer requirements.

Requirements

• BE degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering from a recognized university.
• 12–15 years of experience in sewage treatment plant execution, project management, or similar projects.
• Strong knowledge of electromechanical equipment, rotary and static equipment, piping, valves, installation, erection, commissioning, unloading, and storage.
• Experience leading teams, subcontractors, contractors, operators, and site personnel in hands-on project execution.
• Mandatory knowledge of AutoCAD, along with strong risk assessment, problem-solving, documentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Willingness to work at remote sites and stay for prolonged periods, including several weeks when required.

• Knowledge of the sewage treatment plant construction industry.
