Manager, Warehouse Operations and Equipment (Logistics)

Location: Helsinki, Finland or Gdansk, Poland; hybrid work between office and remote.

Salary: EUR 5,200–6,200 per month if based in Finland; local salary ranges may apply in other locations.

What you will do

• Lead sourcing and contracting for logistics equipment, including tank containers and rail wagons, and related services.
• Manage logistics equipment and warehousing service providers to support safe, reliable, and cost-effective operations.
• Oversee warehouse operations and drive high performance across the logistics network.
• Monitor supplier performance using key performance indicators and ensure compliance with contracts.
• Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives with internal and external stakeholders.
• Lead cross-functional projects supporting growth, profitability, sustainability, and customer service.

Requirements

• Several years of experience in sourcing logistics, transportation, warehousing, fleet, or other indirect services in an international environment.
• Experience with RfQs/RFPs, contract negotiations, supplier management, and service-provider performance improvement.
• Solid understanding of logistics operations, preferably including warehousing.
• Strong negotiation, communication, stakeholder management, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a complex international matrix organization and lead projects from concept to implementation.
• English proficiency in written and spoken professional communication; occasional business travel is required.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
