Customs Manager (F/M/NB)

Location: Poland, based in the Warsaw area. Hybrid working model combining office and home work.

What you will do

• Ensure global import and export activities comply with customs and international trade regulations.
• Assess customs compliance risks and implement mitigation strategies, policies, procedures, and controls.
• Lead cross-market projects covering HS classification, customs valuation, country of origin, special procedures, and process harmonization.
• Monitor regulatory developments and advise internal stakeholders on international trade and supply chain changes.
• Manage customs brokers and service providers, coordinate customs audits, and support remediation activities.
• Own customs duty reporting and drive improvements in compliance, efficiency, standardization, and cost optimization.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in International Trade, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Law, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in customs, global trade compliance, or international trade management.
• Strong knowledge of customs regulations, HS classification, customs valuation, rules of origin, and import/export compliance.
• Experience with ERP and trade compliance systems, preferably SAP and SAP GTS.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, project management, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficiency in Polish and English, with a requirement to be based in the Warsaw area.
