DBA (MS SQL Server & Oracle)

Location: Hybrid in Porto or Lisbon, Portugal

Salary: €28,000–€52,000 per month

What you will do

• Administer and configure Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle databases in on-premises environments.
• Manage SQL Server on-premises and Azure SQL Managed Instances.
• Monitor database performance, diagnose issues, and improve reliability.
• Support database governance, capacity planning, and operational best practices.
• Identify and remediate technical and operational database risks.
• Create technical documentation and operational runbooks while mentoring colleagues and transferring knowledge.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a Database Administrator.
• Strong experience administering Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle.
• Hands-on experience with Azure SQL Managed Instances and Oracle Database on-premises.
• Strong knowledge of database performance, diagnostics, and monitoring.
• Experience with Azure and Windows Server environments.
• Ability to document technical procedures and mentor colleagues.
