Senior Application Specialist (Dynamics 365 & Power Platform)

What you will do

• Design, build, enhance, and support solutions across Dynamics 365 and Microsoft Power Platform.
• Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Architects, and Engineers.
• Provide technical leadership, review solution designs and development work, and mentor junior colleagues.
• Investigate complex application issues, perform root cause analysis, and drive long-term corrective actions.
• Monitor platform health, performance, security, and adoption while supporting upgrades, releases, and lifecycle management.
• Contribute to source control, branching strategies, CI/CD pipelines, release management, documentation, governance, and roadmap planning.

Requirements

• Significant hands-on experience with Dynamics 365, ideally including Customer Service, Sales, or related applications.
• Strong experience with Power Apps, Power Automate, and Dataverse.
• Knowledge of application architecture, solution design, APIs, web services, integration patterns, data models, security models, and application lifecycle management.
• Experience with Azure DevOps or similar tools, Git, CI/CD pipelines, release management, deployment automation, testing, and quality assurance.
• Experience supporting business-critical applications in enterprise environments and collaborating with multidisciplinary stakeholders.
• Experience mentoring, coaching, or developing less experienced colleagues, with the ability to work independently and take ownership.

Nice to have

• Experience with Microsoft Azure services, custom Dynamics 365 components, plugins, or integrations.
• Knowledge of Power Platform Centre of Excellence practices.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, data engineering, Agile delivery, RPA, or AI-enabled automation.
• Microsoft certifications in Dynamics 365, Power Platform, or Azure.
