Product Manager, Spectrum (Cloudflare)

Location: Hybrid, based in Austin, Texas or Washington, DC

Salary: $141,000–$194,000 annual salary for Washington, DC-based hires; compensation may vary by work location.

What you will do

• Represent internal and external customers, build customer relationships, and incorporate customer feedback into product development.
• Define and communicate the product vision and scalable roadmap for Spectrum.
• Make data-driven prioritization decisions, define success metrics, and translate results into actionable product improvements.
• Author use cases, translate customer observations into requirements, and prioritize the product backlog.
• Partner with engineering and cross-functional stakeholders to align priorities and deliver business value.
• Refine pricing models to support product-market fit for secure, performant protocol-level connectivity.

Requirements

• 4+ years of product management experience.
• Experience making deployment decisions based on data, including experience with safe change or closely related technologies.
• Experience with distributed systems and scaling deployment across increasing volumes and internal customers.
• Experience presenting products and features to customers, with strong customer and stakeholder empathy.
• Exceptional communication, presentation, organizational, analytical, consensus-building, and execution skills.
• Experience with large and complex datasets, SQL, Postgres, Prometheus, telemetry pipelines, metrics, traces, and modern observability platforms.

Nice to have

• BS or MS in a technology- or business-related field.
• Experience with command-line tools such as curl and dig.
• Scripting or programming experience with Python or Go, and/or experience with web frameworks.
