Senior Product Manager (Cybersecurity)

What you will do

• Own product management for WAF capabilities across Nginx, Envoy, Kubernetes, containers, and cloud-native deployments.
• Define and prioritize protections for AI-driven and agentic application workloads.
• Translate customer security goals, technical constraints, and feedback into prioritized product backlog items.
• Partner with engineering, sales, marketing, customer support, and principal product managers on delivery, enablement, and go-to-market execution.
• Monitor competitive developments in Kubernetes, WAAP, API security, service mesh, and AI workload protection.
• Track product adoption, usage, KPIs, and business performance through metrics, dashboards, and reports.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in technical product management or a related domain.
• 3+ years of product management experience in cybersecurity.
• Networking and cybersecurity technical background required, including hands-on experience with firewalls, proxies, or WAFs.
• Working knowledge of Nginx, Envoy, Kubernetes, containers, cloud-native environments, and SaaS security delivery models.
• Ability to analyze product and business data and build metrics, dashboards, and reports using AI-powered analytics tools, Excel, Tableau, Power BI, or SQL.
• BA/BS degree in a relevant field and strong communication, negotiation, stakeholder-management, and influencing skills.

Nice to have

• Exposure to service mesh, microservices, and AI application or agentic architectures.
• Experience reasoning about security risks and protection needs for AI workloads.
