Senior Director Society Relations APAC

What you will do

• Lead and develop a high-performing regional Society Relations team with clear priorities, governance discipline, and executive-level engagement.
• Manage relationships with member societies across APAC, including board-level engagement, senior counsel, and escalation of high-impact matters.
• Enable societies to strengthen member engagement and market impact through professional development, advocacy, employer engagement, and financial literacy initiatives.
• Translate global and regional strategy into actionable direction, aligning investments, partnerships, and relationship plans with enterprise priorities.
• Shape operating models and lead cross-functional transformation initiatives using regional insights, risk analysis, and opportunity assessment.
• Represent hirify.global at regional and global forums and coordinate delivery across Membership, Advocacy, Marketing, Education, Institutional Solutions, and Technology.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required; an advanced degree is preferred.
• Investment Foundations Certificate required, or willingness to complete it.
• 12+ years of progressive experience in association management, membership organizations, stakeholder relations, partnership management, financial services, or similar fields.
• Experience leading teams or senior professionals, including matrix leadership across multiple markets or countries.
• Demonstrated success advising boards and executives on governance, strategy, organizational effectiveness, financial sustainability, and membership engagement.
• Experience managing budgets, evaluating funding proposals, allocating resources, leading organizational change, and operating across diverse cultural, regulatory, and political environments.
