Service Delivery Manager (Packaging Manufacturing)

Location: Groot-Bijgaarden, Belgium; regular travel within Belgium, averaging three days per week

What you will do

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of approximately 10–12 Service Engineers.
• Build team competence and prepare service capabilities for current and future customer needs.
• Ensure high-quality delivery of maintenance, troubleshooting, upgrades, and installation services.
• Support engineers with complex technical challenges and customer escalations.
• Collaborate with customers, account managers, planners, and technical specialists to improve service delivery.
• Monitor performance, utilization, service quality, safety, compliance, and operational results.

Requirements

• Technical or engineering degree, or equivalent experience.
• Fluent Dutch and English required; French is an advantage.
• Experience in service operations, field service management, or a related technical environment.
• Experience leading and developing teams, including remote team members.
• Strong coaching, people management, communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
• Good understanding of mechanical, electrical, and automation systems; packaging, processing, or food manufacturing experience is advantageous.
