Senior Capture Manager (Space Defense)

Location: On-site in Chantilly, Virginia, United States; minimal travel of 0–20% and standard working hours.

Basic compensation: $200,000–$240,000 annually for the Virginia area. Additional compensation may include bonuses, commissions, sign-on bonus, relocation benefits, and incentive payments.

What you will do

• Manage two to four capture efforts at different stages, targeting award within 18 months.
• Lead pursuits end to end, from identifying and qualifying opportunities to submitting proposals.
• Coordinate growth, corporate functional, and operational teams throughout each pursuit.
• Develop win themes, proof points, past-performance candidates, resource requirements, risk mitigations, budgets, milestones, and other capture artifacts.
• Build customer and industry relationships, analyze competitors, and shape acquisition opportunities.
• Develop win strategies covering teaming and pricing, write RFI responses, and support acquisition-target identification.

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI security clearance is required.
• At least 10 years of successful capture experience with Intel Community contracts valued above $200 million.
• At least 5 years of project or program management experience.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent related experience; a business, science, or science-related degree is preferred.
• Experience with mature capture organizations targeting space and engineering support, including USSF programs and acquisition processes.
• Ability to work with senior business and government leaders, build industry teams, assess win probability, develop customer call plans, and manage LOE/BOE and corporate indirect rates.
