What you will do

• Lead the development, drafting, implementation, and maintenance of strategic advertising policies for US and international markets.
• Advise Product and Engineering teams on policy risks and embed safeguards during early-stage product development.
• Prepare risk assessments and policy recommendations for senior cross-functional and executive stakeholders.
• Represent the Ads Policy perspective when partnering with Legal, Sales, Operations, Product, and Trust & Safety teams.
• Make risk-balanced decisions on complex, ambiguous advertising policy escalations.
• Provide guidance to colleagues as a senior individual contributor and peer leader.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in compliance, standards, or policy development and implementation.
• Significant experience in technology, digital platforms, advertising, Trust & Safety, or a related policy function.
• Deep expertise in international advertising or content policy and experience advising stakeholders across multiple jurisdictions.
• Demonstrated ownership of complex policy projects, including independent research, drafting, implementation, and maintenance.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain complex regulatory matters in clear business terms.
• Strong ability to structure ambiguous problems into decision documents covering risks, trade-offs, and solutions.

• Experience developing advertising policies at a major technology platform.
• Familiarity with AI tools for workflow automation and tailored partner or client assistance.
