TL;DR

Product Compliance Analyst, Money (Fintech): Ensuring regulatory compliance for credit card, spending, and debit card products with an accent on banking regulations and risk management. Focus on analyzing regulatory changes, reviewing customer disclosures, and managing audit responses for financial platforms.

Location: Must be based in Menlo Park, CA; New York, NY; or Washington, DC with in-person attendance expected at least 3 days per week.

Salary: $115,000 - $135,000 USD (Zone 1)

What you will do

  • Provide compliance guidance on new products, features, and process changes to ensure adherence to banking and lending regulations.
  • Review marketing materials, customer communications, and disclosures for regulatory compliance.
  • Coordinate and review responses to regulatory agency requests and escalated customer complaints.
  • Perform quality assurance reviews of Reg Z (credit card) and Reg E (deposit) disputes.
  • Manage due diligence requests and ongoing compliance activities with sponsor banks and third-party partners.
  • Support internal audits, sponsor bank reviews, and regulatory examinations including remediation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • 5–7 years of compliance experience supporting consumer banking, credit cards, or consumer lending.
  • Strong working knowledge of Regulation Z, Regulation E, UDAAP, FCRA, and ECOA/Reg B.
  • Experience reviewing marketing materials and product launches from a regulatory perspective.
  • Proven ability to translate evolving regulatory guidance into actionable requirements for product teams.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for influencing partner teams.
