Loan Coordinator

Location: Columbia, Missouri, United States

Salary: $50,000–$80,000 in the first year, including base salary and commission

What you will do

• Guide loan files from the contract stage through closing.
• Organize loan details, request and review credit documents, and gather information needed for completion.
• Analyze credit, income, and assets while following company and industry guidelines.
• Prepare complete files for underwriting and submit documentation for closing.
• Communicate with borrowers, loan officers, teammates, and third parties by phone, email, and other communication tools.
• Attend training and support team operations where needed, excluding licensed tasks.

Requirements

• Strong time management, organization, and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, deadlines, and high-volume work.
• Professional communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to remain calm and effective under pressure.
• Proactive, accountable, process-driven approach to problem-solving.
• Previous sales, business development, customer service, or hospitality experience may provide relevant transferable skills; no specific degree or experience is required.
