UX Design Lead

Location: Remote within the United States; U.S. citizenship required. Ability to obtain and maintain the security clearance or access required to support government customers.

What you will do

• Own the end-to-end user experience from initial access and onboarding through application deployment and ongoing platform usage.
• Analyze technical and operational processes to identify friction, manual dependencies, unnecessary steps, and opportunities for simplification or automation.
• Design workflows for identity and access management, role-based access control, provisioning, application onboarding, environment selection, and compliance.
• Translate complex requirements into user journeys, process flows, wireframes, prototypes, high-fidelity designs, and implementation-ready specifications.
• Establish reusable UX patterns, components, design tokens, standards, and documentation across the platform.
• Partner with product, engineering, cybersecurity, and platform operations while conducting research and usability testing to improve workflows.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in UX design, product design, service design, or a related discipline, including leadership of complex end-to-end initiatives.
• Experience improving workflows affected by business processes, technical constraints, organizational behavior, or system architecture.
• Experience designing complex enterprise, SaaS, PaaS, developer, cybersecurity, or other technically sophisticated products.
• Strong proficiency in user flows, journey maps, process diagrams, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs.
• Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, responsive design, APIs, and component-based front-end development, plus experience with design systems and usability research.
• U.S. citizenship and eligibility to obtain and maintain the required security clearance or access are mandatory.
