What you will do

  • Own verification of wireless modem IP, subsystems, and SoCs from specification review through sign-off.
  • Develop verification plans, reusable SystemVerilog/UVM environments, agents, sequences, scoreboards, assertions, and coverage models.
  • Create directed and constrained-random tests and drive functional and code coverage closure.
  • Verify PHY/MAC interactions, modem datapaths and control, digital/RF interfaces, registers, buses, memories, clocks, resets, and interrupts.
  • Run RTL and gate-level regressions, debug protocol and integration failures, and perform root-cause analysis.
  • Improve verification productivity through scripting, continuous integration, regression automation, reusable infrastructure, and metrics-driven debug.

Requirements

  • B.E./B.Tech or M.E./M.Tech in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, VLSI, or a related field.
  • 5–8 years of hands-on ASIC/SoC design verification experience; candidates with greater experience may also be considered.
  • Strong expertise in SystemVerilog, UVM, constrained-random verification, SystemVerilog Assertions, functional coverage, and regression management.
  • Experience verifying wireless modem or connectivity IP at block, subsystem, or SoC level.
  • Understanding of PHY/MAC architecture, digital design fundamentals, SoC architecture, and digital/RF integration.
  • Experience with Verdi, DVE, or SimVision; VCS, Xcelium, or Questa; C/C++; and Python, Tcl, or Shell scripting.

Nice to have

  • Experience with Wi-Fi, BLE, Zigbee, Thread, or Matter.
  • Knowledge of DSP and communication systems, with experience using MATLAB, Simulink, or algorithm reference models.
  • Experience with gate-level simulation, SDF timing debug, CDC/RDC analysis, UPF, formal verification, emulation, FPGA prototyping, or hardware-software co-verification.
  • Experience with Git, Jenkins, CI workflows, scalable regression infrastructure, and data-driven verification automation.
