Data Analyst, People Analytics (AI)

Location: Redmond, Washington, United States; 3 days per week in-office

Salary: USD $86,100–$169,800 per year across the U.S.; USD $113,300–$187,400 per year in the San Francisco Bay Area and New York City metropolitan area.

What you will do

• Build and extend the people-analytics MCP server by adding datasets, improving answer quality, and reducing response times.
• Diagnose and fix bugs across AI tools and test changes rigorously before release.
• Partner with People Analytics colleagues to build GitHub Copilot skills that encode analytical methods.
• Prototype solutions for emerging workstreams and adapt to changing priorities.
• Work closely with analysts to identify tool gaps and convert feedback into improvements that scale.
• Teach AI tools and techniques, support skills development, and build privacy, access, and governance guardrails for sensitive people data.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in mathematics, analytics, data science, engineering, computer science, business, economics, or a related field; or a relevant bachelor’s degree with 2+ years of applicable experience; equivalent experience may be considered.
• Applicable experience may include data analysis and reporting, data science, business intelligence, or business and financial analysis.
• Ability to work in the Redmond, Washington office 3 days per week.
• Experience or interest in building and testing AI-enabled analytical tools and applying privacy requirements to governed data.
