Associate Director, AI Product

Location: NSW, Australia; hybrid work with three days in the office and two days from elsewhere

What you will do

• Define the strategy, vision, and roadmap for AI products that create measurable business value.
• Lead cross-functional product, engineering, data science, and design teams from concept through adoption.
• Drive product discovery, user research, experimentation, and solution validation.
• Prioritise initiatives across customer needs, business outcomes, technical feasibility, and strategic goals.
• Monitor product performance and optimise adoption, engagement, and impact.
• Build stakeholder relationships, influence decisions, and champion responsible AI practices.

Requirements

• Experience leading complex initiatives and influencing stakeholders in a large, matrixed organisation.
• Strong commercial and analytical acumen, using data to guide product decisions and outcomes.
• Understanding of risk, security, and governance, with the ability to balance innovation and responsible delivery.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills with technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience with AI, machine learning, or emerging technologies.
• Collaborative, customer-focused approach to innovation and continuous improvement.
