Process Control Analyst, U.S. Navy OMMS-NG

Location: Jacksonville, Florida, United States; onsite access to Marine Corps Support Facility Blount Island is required.

What you will do

• Process, enter, track, and close maintenance work candidates in the U.S. Navy OMMS-NG database.
• Research technical documentation and logistics databases to identify and validate replacement parts, NSNs, and repair materials.
• Compile daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance and supply tracking reports.
• Coordinate with Government technical representatives, contractor supervisors, technicians, mechanics, and supply clerks to resolve discrepancies and confirm work status.
• Cleanse data, validate open backlogs, archive completed records, and resolve errors in OMMS-NG and R-Supply datasets.
• Document maintenance administration requirements using Microsoft Office and SharePoint, while following SOPs and security regulations.

Requirements

• Associate degree or coursework toward a bachelor’s degree in business, logistics, engineering, or a related field; a high school diploma with formalized military training may be considered instead.
• At least four years of hands-on experience working directly in the U.S. Navy OMMS-NG system.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel data sorting, filtering, and basic formatting, plus general database usage.
• Strong written and oral communication skills for coordination with government and contractor personnel.
• Must be a U.S. citizen.
• Must possess an active Secret security clearance or have the immediate ability to obtain one, and must pass a background check.

Nice to have

• Previous experience as a Departmental Maintenance Assistant or Coordinator.
• Understanding of U.S. Navy Support Element watercraft or Naval Construction Element Civil Engineering Support Equipment.
