Focus on developing executive-level policy and acquisition documentation, analyzing requirements across the DoD acquisition lifecycle, and orchestrating senior-level working groups for CBRN modernization programs.

What you will do
- Advise the Department of the Air Force on CBRN Defense governance, modernization, acquisition, and strategic capability requirements.
- Coordinate and maintain governance documents, policies, action plans, task responses, issue-resolution plans, briefings, meeting materials, and after-action documentation.
- Develop and advocate for Air Force capability needs across CBRN Defense science and technology initiatives and JCIDS analysis.
- Support Air Force interests throughout the DoD acquisition lifecycle for major Joint CBRN Defense Programs before equipment fielding.
- Coordinate with Air Force, OSD, Joint Staff, NATO, and other stakeholders across CBRN research, development, requirements, and acquisition activities.
- Plan and lead senior executive working groups, Integrated Product Teams, and tiger teams focused on CBRN modernization and acquisition.
Requirements
- Active Top Secret SCI clearance.
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
- 15+ years of experience, equivalent to GS-13/GS-14, in emergency services and CBRN defense operations across a full-spectrum threat environment.
- Expert knowledge of Global Force Management policies, guidance, and strategies, along with broad expertise in corporate processes, policies, and programs.
- Working knowledge of the DoD 5000 series acquisition lifecycle and the JCIDS process.
- Ability to write executive-level Air Force documentation and lead cross-functional working groups.
Nice to have
- Experience with the Air Staff, Major Command, Joint Staff, or Office of the Secretary of Defense.
- Familiarity with Air Force Civil Engineer mission areas, organizational structures, and readiness programs.
- Experience administering SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, Confluence, or similar online collaboration tools.
- Defense Acquisition University coursework or certifications in requirements management, systems engineering, or program management.
