What you will do
- Implement systems engineering processes including requirements definition, design, and verification for electro-optic systems.
- Develop system architectures for sensor systems, optical assemblies, and image processing components.
- Create detailed technical specifications including SSS, HRS, and SRS documentation.
- Lead cross-functional teams across optics, electronics, software, and mechanical engineering disciplines.
- Support system verification and validation through performance testing and compliance reporting.
- Participate in formal design reviews and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Engineering or a relevant discipline related to Electro-Optics or Imaging Systems.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in system engineering with proven expertise in electro-optical systems design and imaging sensors.
- Hands-on experience in creating system specifications and managing development lifecycles.
- Familiarity with system lifecycle methodologies such as the V-model or MBSE.
- Proficiency in requirement management tools such as IBM DOORS.
- INCOSE Systems Engineering Professional (SEP) certification or equivalent is highly preferred.
