Product Designer II (AI)

Location: Redmond, Washington, United States; 3 days per week in-office

Salary: USD $102,100–$202,200 per year across the U.S.; San Francisco Bay Area and New York City ranges are USD $133,800–$219,200 per year.

What you will do

• Define the vision for cross-device experiences across devices, applications, services, and AI-powered workflows.
• Drive product design projects from concept through execution and shape product strategy across partner teams.
• Design end-to-end experiences for multi-device ecosystems and connected workflows.
• Rapidly prototype concepts using design tools, code, and AI-assisted development workflows.
• Contribute to design systems, interaction patterns, and frameworks across a broad portfolio.
• Use customer insights, usability research, product telemetry, and competitive analysis to inform decisions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design, Product Design, Human-Computer Interaction, User Experience, Interaction Design, or a related field, plus 3+ years of product or service design experience; equivalent experience is also accepted.
• Portfolio link demonstrating product design, interaction design, visual design, and shipped customer experiences.
• Experience with product design for consumer or productivity software.
• Experience designing mobile, desktop, web, or multi-device ecosystems.
• Proficiency with Figma and modern prototyping tools.

Nice to have

• Experience with companion, continuity, ecosystem, or connected experiences.
• Ability to build functional prototypes using code, low-code tools, or AI-powered development workflows.
• Experience working in fast-paced, highly collaborative product teams.
• Interest in emerging AI experiences, agents, and intelligent workflows.
• Strong communication, storytelling, presentation, ownership, and ambiguity-management skills.
