Location: 100% remote in Colorado, United States; travel and deployments required

Salary: $118,807–$201,971 per year

What you will do

  • Lead teams implementing post-disaster recovery efforts and coordinate program and project delivery.
  • Schedule staff, allocate resources, assess risks, and track deadlines and outstanding issues.
  • Oversee subcontractors and construction managers, validating progress, quality, and completion of corrective actions.
  • Ensure deliverables and client-provided information meet applicable requirements and quality standards.
  • Provide data, reports, training, technical assistance, and advisory services to clients and project teams.
  • Lead assigned business development opportunities, proposals, and client meetings.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • 8+ years of combined program and project management experience.
  • 5+ years of in-depth experience with HUD’s Community Development Block Grant Disaster Recovery program.
  • 2+ years of experience managing a successful high-volume housing recovery program and at least 1 year working directly with FEMA’s Individual Assistance Program.
  • Must be based in Colorado, hold a valid U.S. driver’s license, pass an MVR check, and be willing to travel and deploy as required.
  • Strong communication, analytical, problem-solving, decision-making, collaboration, and MS Office skills.

Nice to have

  • Experience with FEMA non-congregate sheltering policies and implementation guidance.
  • Construction contractor oversight, inspections, change orders, and quality control experience.
  • Experience monitoring federally funded programs.
  • 15+ years in disaster recovery across federal, state, or local government.
  • Project Management Professional certification.
