What you will do

  • Design, build, and test software and firmware for connected medical devices.
  • Translate product requirements into design specifications and verification tests.
  • Integrate system software with electrical and mechanical components for market-ready products.
  • Perform hands-on verification and validation testing of real-world system performance.
  • Develop prototypes, utilities, tools, libraries, and reusable software components.
  • Deliver designs, prototypes, test results, and documentation according to project timelines.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree with 3+ years of experience or master’s degree with 1+ years of experience.
  • Production software or firmware development experience for hardware systems.
  • Programming experience in C++ and/or Rust.
  • Experience with communication protocols such as I2C, SPI, UART, RS-485, TCP/IP, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, or BLE.
  • Knowledge of data structures, data processing, algorithm development, Git, and pull request workflows.
  • Ability to work independently and in small teams, with up to 10% travel.

Nice to have

  • Medical device, wearable, or IoT/smart device software and firmware experience.
  • Knowledge of wireless communication protocols and cybersecurity principles.
  • Experience working with sensors and processing sensor data.
  • Additional Rust programming experience.
