Product Manager (Automotive)

Location: Remote within the United States, with preference for candidates local to the Mesa, Arizona headquarters or New York City office; occasional travel is expected.

What you will do

• Lead continuous customer discovery through interviews, ride-alongs, and data analysis to validate problems and solutions.
• Define and maintain prioritized, outcome-oriented product roadmaps for cloud data processing and backoffice systems.
• Balance customer needs, business objectives, technical feasibility, and regulatory considerations when making product decisions.
• Partner with technical leads, engineering, design, Legal, Compliance, Operations, sales, and other stakeholders to guide delivery.
• Write product briefs and acceptance criteria, clarify context, and enable the squad to deliver with speed and confidence.
• Define success metrics and contribute to pricing, positioning, launch readiness, adoption, retention, and operational efficiency.

Requirements

• 3–7 years of product management experience with a track record of owning outcomes.
• Experience leading customer discovery and translating qualitative and quantitative insights into product decisions.
• Experience working cross-functionally alongside engineering and design teams.
• Experience in regulated or complex domains such as automotive, fleet, payments, or fintech.
• Active use of AI tools for discovery synthesis, documentation, research automation, prototyping, or delivery workflows.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, critical thinking, and an evidence-based approach to decision-making.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of transportation, smart mobility, or road safety.
• Familiarity with Aha!, Azure DevOps, JIRA, or comparable product tools.
• Experience working with compliance, legal, or regulatory stakeholders across multiple jurisdictions.
