Location: Remote flexibility for professionals in the greater Albuquerque area, with occasional travel to the project site in Southern New Mexico. On-site presence may change according to client needs.

What you will do
- Lead cost management, quantity surveying, cost control, and change management across a large-scale, multi-phase construction program.
- Develop, update, present, and maintain cost plans and estimates throughout the design and construction lifecycle.
- Estimate and negotiate contractor and subcontractor change orders, pricing, valuations, final accounts, and post-contract cost variances.
- Coordinate cost information from suppliers, subcontractors, design teams, and general contractors, ensuring accurate data and cost validation.
- Prepare monthly cost reports, funding presentations, executive summaries, commitment tracking, contingency assessments, and benchmarking records.
- Provide commercial input to design optioneering and value engineering while mentoring talent and leading client and stakeholder interactions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Cost Management, Quantity Surveying, Engineering, or a related construction field.
- 5–7 years of relevant cost management experience in the construction industry.
- Experience leading cost management on medium to large, moderately to highly complex construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of procurement routes, value management, value engineering, cost controls, and construction industry technical matters.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills in a client-facing environment, with the ability to work independently.
- Construction consultancy experience and experience with large-scale commercial, industrial, mission-critical, or campus-style programs are strongly preferred.
