What you will do

• Participate in tender and bid processes from initial documentation through analysis and reporting.
• Analyse cost reports as the MEP expert and review findings with senior management.
• Prepare project budgets through detailed cost modelling and benchmarking analysis.
• Manage project costs against budget, including cost reviews, value engineering, and cost-saving initiatives.
• Support the settlement of construction disputes, loss, and expense claims.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the cost management team while ensuring high-quality delivery and timely communication.

Requirements

• Experience as a cost or commercial manager on large-scale construction projects, with increasing leadership responsibility.
• Extensive MEP-focused cost management experience, ideally in a consultancy working on large and complex projects.
• Understanding of MEP systems and the ability to read services drawings and schematics.
• RICS chartered status or active progress toward completing the qualification.
• Degree or comparable qualification in construction, quantity surveying, mechanical engineering, or electrical engineering.
• Strong ownership, accountability, communication, attention to detail, and quality focus.
