Affiliate Marketing Specialist (Contractor)

Location: Chicago, IL, United States. Must be legally authorized to work in the US and not require visa sponsorship now or in the future.

Hourly rate: $35/hour. Nine-month contract with potential conversion to full-time.

What you will do

• Execute affiliate marketing programs across publisher networks such as Rakuten, card-linked offers, and recurring events.
• Apply affiliate link syntax and test links for accuracy and quality before distribution.
• Plan, track, organize, and execute affiliate campaigns.
• Manage third-party partnerships for individual events, including marathons and festivals.
• Collaborate with Marketing on content and creative assets.
• Support partner communications, relationship management, and outreach.

Requirements

• Previous hands-on experience executing affiliate marketing programs.
• Comfort working with spreadsheets, analyzing data, and generating insights.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for cross-functional and external partner collaboration.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple programs simultaneously.
• Willingness to learn and master software and platforms used to execute affiliate programs.
• US work authorization without current or future sponsorship requirements.
