Domain Consultant (Network Security)

Location: Remote within the United States; based in Madison, Wisconsin, with travel potentially required for in-person customer meetings

What you will do

• Provide technical expertise for customers’ network security transformation and zero trust journeys.
• Collaborate with sales teams to develop technical solutions within the network security specialization.
• Present to customers at practitioner and senior leadership levels and lead product demonstrations.
• Manage technical validation projects for prospective customers and partners to support successful opportunities.
• Architect solutions, document high-level designs and use cases, and support implementation and value realization.
• Respond to RFIs and RFPs, discuss competitive offerings, and position appropriate company or partner services.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in pre-sales or sales engineering within zero trust, networking, network security, SaaS security, or SSE/SASE.
• Experience with L2-L4 networking, including switching architectures, Spanning Tree, VLANs, trunking, IP routing, OSPF, BGP, route redistribution, and L4 load balancing.
• Strong understanding of NGFW, network security, SASE, SD-WAN, CASB, proxy, DLP, and BYOD solutions.
• Advanced knowledge of on-premise and cloud-delivered network security technologies.
• Outstanding customer communication and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient English and eligibility to work in the United States; immigration sponsorship is not available.
