Senior Solutions Engineer - Remote (Cybersecurity)

Location: Candidates must reside in Ohio, United States. The role is primarily field-based, with approximately 70% of time spent working remotely or from a regional office, plus up to 30% travel within the assigned territory.

What you will do

• Partner with Sales teams to drive technical engagement throughout the customer lifecycle.
• Support VAR, MSP, and MSSP channel partners with solution positioning, deployment, and technical support.
• Deliver product demonstrations, proof-of-concepts, technical presentations, and whiteboard sessions.
• Provide technical consultations and recommend solutions aligned with customer business objectives.
• Collaborate with Product Management, Support, Marketing, and Solution Engineering teams.
• Build stakeholder relationships and contribute to revenue growth through technical expertise and sales acumen.

Requirements

• 6+ years of related experience with a bachelor's degree, 3+ years with a master's degree, 1+ year with a Ph.D., or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• CISSP certification.
• Experience in pre-sales, technical support, professional services, or solution engineering within a cybersecurity or enterprise environment.
• Ability to independently lead technical sales engagements and present complex concepts to technical and executive audiences.
• Strong communication, objection-handling, whiteboarding, solution-selling, organizational, and time-management skills.
• Experience evaluating customer requirements and developing effective technical solutions.

Nice to have

• Microsoft Azure Associate and/or AWS Associate certification.
• hirify.global SNSA and SNSP certifications.
• Knowledge of HIPAA, PCI-DSS, SOX, FERPA, CIPA, and GDPR frameworks.
• Experience with managed security and cloud security environments.
