Transportation Project Manager (Roadway/Highway Engineering)

Location: Onsite in Brentwood, Knoxville, Chattanooga, or Jackson, Tennessee

What you will do

• Lead roadway, highway, bridge, and traffic engineering projects from conceptual design through construction.
• Plan, direct, and manage multidisciplinary transportation projects across the region.
• Prepare project scopes, schedules, budgets, task orders, design plans, specifications, reports, and analyses.
• Develop and present complex technical solutions to clients while maintaining quality and production standards.
• Manage and mentor engineers and designers and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Support business development and proposal efforts for municipal, state, and private clients.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, planning, sciences, or a closely related field.
• 8 years of experience in transportation project management.
• Successful experience managing complex roadway or highway projects.
• Knowledge of transportation design software, including OpenRoads and MicroStation.
• Strong understanding of transportation industry standards, regulations, and best practices.
• Leadership, team management, mentoring, communication, presentation, organizational, and project management skills.
