Associate Director, Program Management, Global Commercial Medical IT (Biotech)

Location: Research Triangle Park, North Carolina, United States

Salary: $160,000–$220,000 base compensation per year

What you will do

• Lead complex cross-functional IT programs, including Patient Services initiatives, product launches, and mergers and acquisitions.
• Drive program alignment across scope, schedules, resources, budgets, risks, and deliverables.
• Consolidate project and program status reporting into portfolio-level views for leadership reviews.
• Manage portfolio financials, month-end close activities, annual budgeting, and performance metrics.
• Coordinate stakeholders and cross-team discussions, resolve issues, and maintain delivery progress with minimal oversight.
• Identify operational efficiencies and improvement opportunities across the GCM IT portfolio.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Information Technology, or equivalent experience; an MBA is preferred.
• 10+ years of IT experience managing projects, programs, and portfolios in the pharma-biotech industry.
• Significant program leadership experience in Patient Services or Patient Support Organizations.
• 5+ years implementing complex cross-functional projects within established software development life cycle methodologies.
• Experience with waterfall, agile, or SAFe delivery methodologies.
• Strong organizational, communication, financial management, and prioritization skills.

• Experience managing product launches or mergers and acquisitions.
• Process-oriented mindset with the ability to identify efficiencies.
• MBA.
