Senior Compensation & Equity Analyst (Aerospace)

Location: Los Angeles, California, United States. The role involves access to ITAR-controlled information and requires a U.S. person or eligibility for a federally issued export-control license.

Base salary: $120,000–$170,000 per year, plus company equity.

What you will do

• Own compensation processes covering offer reviews, promotions, merit recommendations, and market benchmarking.
• Manage compensation survey participation, including data submission, job mapping, and results analysis.
• Build and maintain pay bands, leveling structures, and specialized compensation frameworks.
• Administer equity programs in Carta, reconcile cap-table data, and model dilution, option pools, grant timing, and refresh cycles.
• Develop workforce dashboards and reporting on headcount, attrition, hiring pace, and compensation trends.
• Evaluate and roll out AI tools, guidelines, and training for People Operations.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in compensation, HR analytics, or a related quantitative HR function.
• Direct experience with compensation benchmarking and surveys such as Radford or Option Impact.
• Working knowledge of vesting, dilution, option pools, and other equity mechanics.
• Strong Excel and Google Sheets modeling skills, including dashboards and forecasting tools.
• Must be a U.S. person under ITAR or otherwise eligible for a federally issued export-control license.

Nice to have

• Experience in aerospace, hardware, or other technical-hiring-heavy industries.
• Experience supporting board-level or investor-facing People analytics.
• Experience with an equity administration platform such as Carta.
