Location: Remote β must be based in the United States; currently not hiring in Hawaii
Salary: $74,000β$84,550 per year in starting total cash; equity offered, with no bonus for this role.

What you will do
- Manage assigned pre-bill functions within the Revenue Cycle Management team.
- Investigate claim rejections, apply payer-specific requirements, and prioritize complex claims for accurate resolution.
- Monitor automated workflows and improve operational efficiency.
- Provide leadership and guidance to offshore teams.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to analyze operational trends and optimize workflows and claim outcomes.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of medical billing experience.
- Experience improving and optimizing processes using Salesforce, AdvancedMD, payer portals such as Availity, and Google Workspace or Microsoft Office.
- Comprehensive knowledge of the end-to-end claims lifecycle, front-end revenue integrity, claim edits, rejection codes, and payer-specific billing requirements.
- Strong critical-thinking skills for evaluating complex cases, identifying solutions, and making informed decisions.
- Basic to intermediate Excel or Google Sheets skills, including data formatting, basic charts, and pivot tables.
- Ability to manage high-volume pre-bill work queues, prioritize workloads, meet tight deadlines, and maintain accurate documentation.
Nice to have
- Mental health or behavioral health billing and collections experience.
- Proficiency with electronic health record and billing systems such as AdvancedMD.
- At least 1 year of experience partnering with or leading offshore teams.
