NDT Level II UTSW (Maritime)

Location: Santa Fe Springs, California; must be local to Los Angeles County or willing to relocate. U.S. Persons only due to ITAR export-control requirements. Field travel may extend through Southern California to the Oakland/San Francisco area.

Salary: $30–$35+ per hour, based on experience and certifications.

What you will do

• Conduct non-destructive testing across most NDT methods for maritime customers and field projects.
• Collect, manage, and evaluate test data for accuracy and consistency.
• Maintain and report test results and complete required documentation.
• Read technical documents and engineering specifications and follow precise procedures.
• Work safely in industrial environments, including at heights, in confined spaces, and around operating equipment.
• Adapt to changing schedules, extended travel, shifts of up to 12 hours, and workweeks of up to 7 days.

Requirements

• Experienced Level II NDT technician with maritime NDT experience.
• Must be a U.S. Person: U.S. citizen or national, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
• Must be local to Los Angeles County, California, or willing to relocate.
• Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and successful completion of a drug screen.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, computer skills for data entry, and ability to read technical documentation.
• Ability to wear required safety equipment, work with radiation and hazardous materials, and lift and carry up to 100 pounds.

• Additional NDT certifications.
• Passport and TWIC in hand, or the ability to obtain them promptly.
