Research Scientist (AI)

What you will do

• Collaborate with frontier-lab researchers to design post-training recipes and data-quality measurement techniques.
• Design and run the in-house post-training stack to measure model improvements on research tasks.
• Develop new data products from available datasets and expert knowledge.
• Work with procurement to assess and refine externally acquired data.
• Build scalable systems for ingesting and evaluating potential data acquisitions.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of production reinforcement-learning experience at a frontier lab.
• End-to-end experience post-training a large language model.
• Experience validating data quality and improving model learning from task data.
• Ability and interest to drive the research roadmap and implementation on a fast-moving team.
• Deep curiosity about machine learning from data and extracting strong learning signals.
