Senior Zscaler Administrator (Cybersecurity)

Location: Leatherhead, Surrey, United Kingdom. This is a permanent, full-time position based in the United Kingdom. Candidates must be eligible to obtain and maintain the appropriate UK Security Clearance.

What you will do

• Administer and enhance Zscaler Internet Access, Zscaler Private Access, Zscaler Digital Experience, and Zscaler Client Connector environments.
• Configure access policies, forwarding profiles, application segments, connector groups, URL filtering, SSL inspection, cloud firewall controls, and data protection policies.
• Monitor platform health, user experience, security events, application access, performance metrics, and operational trends.
• Troubleshoot client connectivity, authentication, application access, policy enforcement, and cloud security issues across enterprise environments.
• Support Client Connector deployment and lifecycle management across Windows, macOS, iOS, and Android using endpoint management platforms such as Intune and Jamf.
• Develop automation, reporting, documentation, and operational tooling while supporting Zero Trust transformation, SASE adoption, VPN modernization, and tenant migrations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in cybersecurity, information technology, computer science, engineering, information systems, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience and training.
• At least 7 years of experience supporting enterprise cybersecurity, networking, secure access, or cloud security environments.
• Hands-on administration experience with Zscaler Internet Access and Zscaler Private Access in complex enterprise organizations.
• Strong knowledge of Zero Trust Network Access, SASE, TCP/IP, DNS, routing, VPNs, proxies, firewalls, SSL/TLS inspection, certificates, authentication, and SSO.
• Experience with Microsoft Entra ID, Active Directory, Conditional Access, MFA, hybrid identity, endpoint compliance, and strong PowerShell scripting.
• Eligibility to obtain and maintain the appropriate UK Security Clearance is required.

Nice to have

• Experience with Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, Microsoft 365 Security, Microsoft Azure, SIEM integrations, log analytics, and security monitoring.
• Bash scripting, automation tools, infrastructure operations, and large-scale secure access transformation experience.
• Experience in government, defense, aerospace, critical infrastructure, energy, transportation, or other highly regulated sectors.
• Zscaler, Microsoft, Azure, CompTIA Security+, CISSP, CISM, or CCSP certifications.
