Senior Detection Analyst (Cybersecurity)

Location: Remote - Costa Rica

What you will do

• Analyze EDR telemetry, alerts, and log sources across Endpoint, Identity, Network, and Cloud/SaaS detection domains.
• Publish and review threats for Managed Detection and Response customers.
• Write concise threat communications covering key indicators and remediation context.
• Lead improvements to Detection Operations workflows through orchestration and automation.
• Manage high volumes of telemetry while delivering high-fidelity threat analysis.

Requirements

• Demonstrated curiosity about AI tools and experience integrating new technologies into daily workflows.
• Strong Endpoint Detection and Response experience plus expertise in one or more of Cloud/SaaS, Identity, Email, or Network detection.
• Experience with DevOps workflows and scripting languages such as Python, Ruby, or PowerShell.
• Expertise with query languages and syntax across EDR or other security platforms, including SQL or Lucene.
• Awareness of current threats, attack techniques, and vulnerabilities.
• Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills.

Nice to have

• Professional Red Team or offensive security experience.
• Active Infosec community involvement through blogs, webinars, or conference presentations.
• Familiarity with MITRE ATT&CK TTPs.
