Senior Manager - Identify & Access Management (Cybersecurity)

Location: Bristol head office, BS2 0TR, UK; hybrid working with a minimum of 2 days in the office per week

What you will do

• Own the multi-year IAM, PAM and IGA strategy, target operating model and capability maturity roadmap.
• Lead transformation across automation, self-service, joiner-mover-leaver processes, RBAC, PAM controls and identity governance.
• Set enterprise IAM standards, patterns and policies based on least privilege, zero-trust identity and segregation-of-duties principles.
• Own privileged access and access governance outcomes, including vaulting, session isolation, credential rotation, recertification and exception handling.
• Represent IAM at executive, risk and governance forums and act as the principal interface to external auditors and regulators.
• Own IAM investment cases, vendor strategy and budgets while leading and developing a high-performing IAM team.

Requirements

• Extensive senior leadership experience in IAM, PAM and IGA within a complex, regulated environment; financial-services experience is strongly preferred.
• Experience leading multi-year IAM, PAM and IGA transformation programmes, including operating-model design, tooling modernisation and measurable maturity improvements.
• Deep knowledge of enterprise IAM and PAM platforms, including OneIdentity and CyberArk Privilege Cloud.
• Strong understanding of SSO, MFA, OIDC, SAML, RBAC, ABAC and workload identity federation across Microsoft Entra ID, Active Directory and AWS IAM.
• Experience presenting strategy, control effectiveness and remediation to executive committees, board risk committees, auditors and regulators.
• Knowledge of FCA/PRA Operational Resilience, DORA, ICO expectations, ITGC, ISO 27001 and NIST CSF, plus advanced security or IAM certifications.
