Fleet & Dispatch Coordinator/Specialist (Logistics)

Annual salary: $70,000–$80,000 plus annual performance bonus.

What you will do

• Assist with daily dispatch, driver scheduling, route planning, and load assignments.
• Coordinate with drivers to support on-time pickups and deliveries.
• Monitor fleet activity, mileage, fuel usage, vehicle availability, and basic transportation performance metrics.
• Assist with maintenance scheduling, inspections, and repair coordination.
• Maintain driver and vehicle records and support DOT/FMCSA compliance.
• Resolve routine operational issues, including delays, breakdowns, and schedule changes, while communicating with drivers and operations teams.

Requirements

• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced operational environment.
• Comfort working with drivers and cross-functional operations teams.

Nice to have

• 1–2 years of experience in trucking, dispatch, fleet, logistics, or transportation operations.
• Basic understanding of trucking dispatch, routing, and driver scheduling.
• Familiarity with DOT/FMCSA regulations.
• Experience with GPS/telematics or dispatch software.
