Team Leader, Business Banking - Bilingual

Location: Quebec, Canada; primarily remote with occasional on-site attendance required. Employees must be able to reach their primary work location within two hours’ notice for business purposes.

What you will do

• Lead 10–12 Business Advisors and Business Analysts supporting business banking products, sales, client advice, and after-sales service.
• Coach and develop employees across the business banking sales cycle, client journey, product suitability, credit information, and internal processes.
• Provide guidance on client meetings, sales negotiations, closing opportunities, and delivering a strong client experience.
• Act as the first escalation point for clients and internal banking teams, investigating root causes and ensuring prompt resolution.
• Monitor employee and client interactions, set call-quality benchmarks, and provide regular feedback and coaching.
• Collaborate with Credit Risk Management, Retail Lending Services, Retail Account Services, Personal Banking, and Imperial Service.

Requirements

• Experience in people leadership and advisory sales, with a demonstrated record of success.
• Experience leading diverse, high-performing teams and developing employee capabilities.
• Strong knowledge of business banking products and services, including lending, cash management, GICs, and banking centre services.
• Ability to read and interpret financial statements, credit bureaus, and other financial documents.
• Undergraduate degree or diploma in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Fluent French and English required; candidates must be legally eligible to work in Canada and hold any required work or study permit.
