What you will do

• Prepare compounded sterile IV medications using aseptic technique under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
• Set up the compounding room, equipment, and supplies for sterile solution preparation.
• Participate in cleanroom product introduction activities.
• Perform general cleaning and maintenance duties.
• Prepare records and monitor results for pharmaceutical quality assurance testing.
• Follow CAPS policies, procedures, and workplace safety requirements.

Requirements

• Pharmacy Technician License issued by the California Board of Pharmacy required.
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
• Working knowledge of the relevant technical field and ability to follow detailed procedures and instructions.
• Aseptic processing training or experience is desirable; training will be provided.
• cGMP training or experience is desirable; training will be provided.
• Availability for a Monday–Friday, 9:00 a.m.–5:30 p.m. schedule with rotating weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.

Nice to have

• National Pharmacy Technician Certification through PTCB or NHA ExCPT.
