Business Systems Architect

Location: Onsite in Downers Grove, Illinois, United States

Base salary: $100,100–$185,900 per year, plus incentive eligibility.

What you will do

• Design business architecture through needs analysis, routine problem resolution, and outcome estimation.
• Develop technical roadmaps covering business processes, application blueprints, data models, and system layers.
• Analyze business requirements, technical gaps, and application options supporting business strategies.
• Conduct risk assessments and quality assurance activities within business architecture.
• Evaluate architecture outcomes and communicate client feedback to technology teams.

Requirements

• University or college degree, typically a bachelor's degree.
• 5+ years of industry-relevant experience, or a comparable combination of education, certifications, and experience.
• Knowledge of business architecture, IT architecture, business process modeling, IT standards, and procedures.
• Skills in consulting, strategic and tactical planning, problem solving, and technical analysis.
• Must work from the Downers Grove, Illinois office; the position is in-office.
