TL;DR
Global Supply Chain Rotational Program, New College Grad- Master's (Austin, TX) (Supply Chain Management): Rotating through purchasing and sourcing, project and program management, and supplier account management in a global manufacturing organization with an accent on procurement strategy, supplier performance, and new product integration. Focus on analyzing sourcing options, negotiating supplier pricing and delivery, managing materials changes, and resolving quality and capacity challenges.

Location: Austin, TX, United States. Relocation eligible; travel required 10% of the time.

Salary: $68,000–$93,500 per year.

What you will do

  • Rotate through purchasing and sourcing, project and program management, and supplier account management.
  • Issue RFQs, analyze proposals, negotiate prices, execute orders, and support new product integration and commercialization.
  • Develop commodity and procurement strategies balancing cost, quality, source reliability, and urgency.
  • Forecast engineering, materials, and manufacturing requirements and coordinate demand signals through MRP.
  • Monitor supplier delivery, quality, cost, capability, and capacity while supporting sourcing decisions.
  • Manage materials change control, supplier quality issues, process indicators, and total landed cost targets.

Requirements

  • Complete the full 30-month rotational program.
  • Graduate with an MBA in Supply Chain Management and hold a technical undergraduate degree.
  • Maintain good academic standing; a GPA of 3.0 or above on a 4.0 scale is preferred.
  • Have exposure to ERP technology and data analytics, including advanced Excel and working with multiple datasets.
  • Interpret engineering drawing specifications and requirements to source parts according to sourcing strategies and supplier capabilities.
  • Communicate complex concepts, negotiate effectively, exercise judgment from multiple information sources, and adapt in a results-driven environment.

Nice to have

  • Experience in engineering, supply chain, operations, manufacturing, or project management.
  • Six Sigma Green Belt, APICS CPIM, APICS CSCP, or PMP certification.
  • Hands-on ERP experience.
